DOWNLOADS
Downloads information
This document provides information about the Denis Wick Publications sheet music downloads system.
If you are encountering problems with downloads PLEASE READ THIS FIRST -
It may well solve your problem very quickly!
To open downloads you will need a .PDF reader and a ZIP utility, and possibly also an MP3 player.
We recommend you use Adobe Acrobat Reader, which is available by clicking here: Adobe Download Acrobat Reader
There are many places you can download a free zip utility, including one from here: >Download FilZip
Some downloads may include a music preview and to play it you will need an MP3 player such as Microsoft Media Player, available here : >Download Media Player
All downloads are tested carefully on this site to ensure that they work before they are released.
However, on occasion, the PayPal site may not return you to the DWP site after payment completes.
If this happens, log back into the DWP shop using your credentials.
Go to "Your Account", then go to "Order History". You should see a link to your order there. Click on it and select "SAVE" to download it to your computer. You have three attempts to do this (but if you encounter serious problems and need more please contact the site admin to have this reset.)
From there the process is:
1. Save your music somewhere safe. We strongly recommend a CD or similar media. Do this first. You'll be glad you did!
2. Make a new folder, and Unzip the archive to it. This should now contain score and parts for the piece you purchased.
3. Print each part, being careful to select the correct paper size. All DWP publications are set to use A4 paper, but printing to other paper sizes can be organised in most PDF print utilities. We recommend laser printers since the print is more durable and ink does not run when wet.
Thank you for reading this. If you still have problems please contact us for further advice.
